Habitat for Humanity’s ReStore Expands

Sussex County Habitat for Humanity ReStore is celebrating the New Year with an expansion of their facility at 107 Depot St. in less than two years. Customers will be greeted by an additional furniture room in the entrance, which creates space for additional appliances and cabinets in the rear of the ReStore. Thanks to an increase in donations from individuals and contractors of working appliances, cabinets, doors, windows, and furniture during 2009 ReStore continues to work toward increasing its inventory.

ReStore sells donated new and gently used appliances, cabinets, furniture, doors, and windows at their warehouse store located near the railroad station in Georgetown.

Sussex County Habitat for Humanity operates ReStore to help with funding for more Habitat homes. The profits go directly to Habitat’s mission of building simple, decent, and affordable homes in partnership with Sussex County families.

To volunteer with ReStore or to donate items, call 302-855-1156, email [ email ], or visit the website, www.sussexcountyhabitat.org.
